Coucou :-)

Hi there !

Well life goes on in Wellington. I haven’t got much to say since I’m trying to save some money so I don’t really go out and party at night... Anyway, I’m working on saturdays and sundays so when everybody is partying I’m just sleeping for I have to wake up at 6 am.
I ‘ve been travelling with two French guys ( Benjamin n Benoit ) since Hastings ( apple picking). They went away two days ago because they had to sell their van in Auckland. When I arrived in Wellington, I was with 6 people, all of us were looking for a job and the plan was to work here for a couple of months and to rent a house together. At the end of the day, all of them are gone and I’m by myself in this city ☹ sniff…
Don’t worry about me, I’m alright ! ☺ I’ve got a job that is quite fine and I can skate everyday in the most awesome skatepark in the world ! But I won’t be alone for a long time… Dad n mum are coming to visit me in two weeks !!! Lucky me, I’m one of the only guys here in NZ whose parents are crazy enough to fly more than 24 hours just to say hello for two weeks ☺ thx for that !
Enjoy the pics n feel free to leave a lot of comments !
On the pics you can see :
- Me with small heaps of crap in a field
- Waitangi Skatepark
- The nice view we have from the house in Johnsonville
- My fellow countrymen leaving Wellington
- Our dear president in the morning headlines... Read this article if you can... That's enough to be ashamed of being French.

SKATEBOARDING IS NOT A CRIME AT ALL IN NZ =)

Hi dudes!

I'm sorry guys but I'll write this post in English today, so if u really wanna read that, you'll have whether to use your English skills or to find a translator =)

Today was saturday, my second day off since I started my new job at Mojo's Cafe. I woke up with a slight hangover from partying a bit too hard on the eve... But it was worth it. We were invited to the place of friends of friends of mine ( I know it may sound a bit weird but it's like that in NZ : mi casa es su casa ). I woke up in the van of my French friends cuz nobody could drive after the party. We went to the skatepark for we had heard of a skate contest on April 4. It turned out that the contest wasn't at the park but it was actually in the street. The sponsors closed a part of this street with a set of 7 steps just for the event. It was absolutely awesome!!!
The contest was for free and it was open to whoever wanted to smash his face on the concrete down 7 steps. Personnaly I didn't...
There was one thousand dollars to win for the best trick down the stairs... I saw a bunch of crazy tricks such as 360 flip, switch Big Spin, switch kickflip, nollie backside heelflip ( the guy who won the prize money ),FS bluntslide and... FS Tailslide Kickflip out =) In the end I saw something like 6 boards breaking instantly and heaps of bails. Those guys were just crazy to the point of killing themselves for 1000 bucks!
Sorry for all of those who are neither Manu or Gaspardo ;-)
Well after seeing those crazy guys, I had to go and skate. Hungover or not, I was so motivated that I did so. That was a good idea, I had such a good session!

PS : Hey Koso! Take a look at that BTS ( spéciale dédicace! )

Wellington : capital city bro !

Hi bros! How's it goin' in our good old France?
